“Ozapft Is!” is the motto for Golden Leaves Con 11, which was supposed to be held in 2020 but like other major Furry events had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with vaccination in progress it appears that GLC 11 can finally happen this year. As the motto suggests, the theme for the convention will be “Oktoberfest”, so you can expect bavarian kitsch and the shenanigans usually associated with these traditional south-german festivities.
As in previous years, the convention will be held in the Hostel C’est la Vie in the beautiful alpine town of Hasliberg. The convention will offer more than just stunning views. No matter if you are a fursuiter or not, there will be a variety of things to do with a lot of program from wednesday to sunday. You can take part in a dance contest, enjoy the pawpet show or relax in the heated pool or at the camping fire, get some drinks at the bar, snoop through the dealers den or just enjoy the time with your friends.
Because there is still quite some time for the sitaution to change, it is not that clear yet what rules and regulations will be made for the convention. However, we are certain that it will be fun nonethless and that we can look forward to enjoying GLC 11.
